The Yellow Dragon Knows
I must say that first I believe that we are human beings and secondly we are all citizens of the planet earth so nothing is more important than that. I say this at the beginning so that there may be no misunderstanding of my comments. Basically, when we want to talk with a country that has an old and deep-rooted civilization, we should be more careful.
I don't want to say that the color of their blood is different, but I want to say that we should consider their high credibility. These countries can be found in all continents, such as: Iran (heir to the Persian Empire) and India (heir to the Ashoka Empire) and China in Asia, Egypt in Africa, Greece and Italy (heir to the Roman Empire) in Europe and Mexico (heir to the Maya civilization and Aztec Empire) and Peru (heir to the Inca Empire) in Central and South America.
Regarding the ancient Chinese empire, it is enough to know that the Great Wall of China is about two thousand years old. As far as I have researched, China's claim on the island of Taiwan is historically correct, and also the people of the island of Taiwan are originally Chinese and speak Mandarin, which is the official language of China. Although due to China's weakness in the 19th and 20th centuries, the island of Taiwan was separated from its motherland, but now the yellow dragon has regained its power and demands its rights. If we look at the issue logically, we will realize that unlike the dangerous and expansionist image that many world press have made of China in the case of Taiwan, China is not expansionist in any way and only wants its historical rights. The world community should respect the opinion of one and a half billion people living in China. Just as the United Nations Security Council in 1971 rightly replaced China in this council and by passing Resolution 2758, it ended Taiwan's strange membership in this council and rightly accepted the reality and gave the respect that China deserved.
The US government should not forget that in 1979 it officially recognized the one China government including China and Taiwan. Of course, this action of the United States government was the right action at that time. The Chinese government has declared that it has legal sovereignty over the Taiwan Strait (just like Iran s legal sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz in the Persian Gulf), Yes, China is right and of course this is a trump card in the hands of China. But what is the solution? In my opinion, it is definitely not war, because many innocent people are killed in war, which is very painful.
It seems that the best solution is for the United Nations to try to return the island of Taiwan to China through a peaceful process, just as it returned Hong Kong and Macao to China peacefully in 1997 and 1999. Finally, I have a question, where is the island of Taiwan located? Answer: geographically, the island of Taiwan is located near China and between the East China Sea and the South China Sea. I think there is no need for more explanation because the patient yellow dragon knows!
